Join us for a 6-day photography adventure through two of Jordan’s most iconic landscapes, Petra and Wadi Rum. Begin your journey exploring the ancient city of Petra, including night photography sessions at the Treasury and the Monastery inside of Petra. Then venture into the Martian-like landscapes of Wadi Rum for desert photography, including sunset, night, and camel portrait sessions.






Jordan Photography Tour — 6-Day Itinerary
(Fully customizable upon request)
Below is a suggested itinerary. You can also customize your trip with alternative locations or adjusted dates to suit your schedule.
Day 1 — Arrival & Petra: The Treasury
After meeting at Queen Alia International Airport at 12:00, we will make our way to Petra.
Following hotel check-in, we begin exploring the ancient city of Petra.
In the evening, you will participate in a photography session at Petra by Night, capturing the Treasury illuminated by thousands of candles.

Day 2 — Petra: The Monastery
06:00 — Guided entry into Petra with a local expert. We’ll photograph the Treasury and several of Petra’s best viewpoints.
09:00 — Return to the hotel.
11:00 — Astrophotography theory class.
16:00 — Transfer via Little Petra to hike the back entrance to the Monastery.
We’ll watch a stunning sunset, enjoy dinner beside the Monastery, and then begin our night-photography session before hiking back down to our hotel.

Day 3 — The Wadi Rum Desert
After departing Petra, we drive into the spectacular Wadi Rum desert, famous for its Martian landscapes and film locations.
After check-in:
Enjoy lunch and free time to rest.
In the evening, we head out for a night photography session under pristine desert skies.

Day 4 — Wadi Rum: Sunset & Night Workshop
Enjoy a relaxed morning and lunch.
Around 15:00, we begin a desert tour, stopping at several scenic locations.
We’ll settle at a spectacular viewpoint for a sunset session followed by an extended night photography workshop under the stars.

Day 5 — Wadi Rum: Camels, Dunes & Blue Hour
After breakfast, enjoy time to relax before we explore new areas of the desert.
In the late afternoon, we head to dunes and mountain formations where we will photograph camels at sunset and blue hour—a highlight of the trip.

Day 6 — Farewell & Departure
Transfer back to Queen Alia International Airport, with an estimated arrival at 12:30.
Your Guide: Benjamin Barakat

As your host and instructor, I will guide you through every step of mastering nightscape and landscape photography.
On the first day, you will receive a full introduction to astrophotography, including settings, workflow, and planning.
Throughout the tour:
You can shadow me and replicate my compositions to learn technique and workflow directly.
Or you can explore freely, with personalised feedback, guidance, and on-location support whenever you need it.
The tour also includes landscape, sunrise, and sunset photography sessions.

To secure your spot, a non-refundable deposit of 1,500 CHF per person is required.
The remaining balance is due 90 days before the tour.

Please note:
The initial 1,500 CHF deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellation 90+ days before the tour: no additional fees.
Cancellation less than 90 days before departure: the full amount is non-refundable.
However — to make the process easy and fair:
If you find another person to take your spot and pay the full amount, we will transfer your booking to them at no extra cost. This makes cancellations flexible and helps keep the group numbers stable.
