General principles
6.1 What data do we collect?
We primarily process the personal data that you actively provide to us when visiting our website or contacting us (e.g., via email). This may include:
Personal details: name, address, date of birth, etc.
Contact details: email address, phone number, etc.
Financial data: bank account information (if contractually required)
Online identifiers: IP addresses, cookie identifiers, device information
Our systems also automatically collect certain technical information when you interact with our website. This includes IP address, browser used, operating system, date and time of access, and referrer URL.
6.2 Under what conditions do we process your data?
We process your personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law. Data processing is particularly permissible if:
You have given us your consent;
It is necessary for the performance of a contract or for pre-contractual measures;
We have a legitimate interest in data processing, provided your interests, fundamental rights, and freedoms do not outweigh ours.
6.3 Withdrawal of consent
If you have given us consent to process your data, you can withdraw it at any time by sending an email to benjaminbarakat@outlook.com. Please note that withdrawal only applies to future processing and does not affect processing that has already occurred.
6.4 Disclosure of data to third parties
We only disclose your personal data to third parties if a legal basis permits or requires it. Third parties can be service providers we engage to provide our services (e.g., IT providers, consulting firms, marketing or CRM providers). We ensure that these providers comply with adequate data protection standards and contractually commit to comply with Swiss data protection regulations.
Specific data processing operations
7.1 Provision of the website and creation of log files
When you visit our website, information transmitted by your browser is automatically recorded:
IP address
Date and time of the server request
Browser type, version, and operating system
Referrer URL (the previously visited page)
This data is temporarily stored in so-called log files. The purpose of this processing is to ensure the functionality and security of our website as well as error analysis. Log files are deleted or anonymized once the purpose no longer applies.
7.2 Web beacons (tracking pixels)
We occasionally use tracking pixels to measure usage behavior and reactions to our offers. These are small graphic files embedded in emails or websites that transmit certain information when accessed (e.g., whether an email was opened). These cannot be deactivated by you. The use is based on our legitimate interest in optimizing our communication.
7.3 Success and reach measurement
Our communications (e.g., newsletters) may contain web links or tracking pixels that indicate whether and when a message was opened and which links were clicked. This allows us to measure the success of our communications and optimize our content.
7.4 Contact via email
If you contact us via email, the information you provide will be stored to process your request and for potential follow-up questions. Please note that email transmission is unencrypted and cannot be completely protected against third-party access.
7.5 Cookies
We use cookies on our website. These are small files stored on your device that retain specific settings and data for exchange with our system or the system of our providers. Cookies help make our website more user-friendly and enable various functions (e.g., language selection, shopping cart).
Session cookies are deleted automatically after your visit.
Persistent cookies remain on your device for a longer, predefined period but can be deleted by you at any time.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. This may restrict the functionality of our website.
7.6 Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google LLC (USA). Google Analytics uses cookies to analyze website usage. The information generated (including the truncated IP address) is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
We use Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled so that IP addresses are truncated by Google within Switzerland or the EEA. This excludes direct personal references. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in optimizing our website and marketing campaigns.
7.7 Meta Pixel
We use Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel) to analyze visitor behavior and display relevant ads. Information such as IP address, browser details, referrer URL, and interactions on our website is collected. Meta Platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) may link this information to your user account and use it for its own advertising purposes. We have no influence over this data processing by Meta Platforms.
7.8 Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager to manage and embed tracking codes and services. Google Tag Manager itself does not collect personal data but only deploys integrated codes (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Pixel).
Integration of external services (GoHighLevel, Framer, and others)
8.1 GoHighLevel
We use GoHighLevel as a CRM and marketing automation platform. Personal data such as name, email address, phone number, or other contact information may be processed to manage campaigns, handle inquiries, and maintain customer relationships. Data is transmitted to GoHighLevel servers and stored there. We ensure that GoHighLevel is contractually bound to Swiss data protection law or a comparable protection level.
8.2 Framer
Our website may be hosted or created entirely or in part using the Framer platform. Technical data (e.g., IP address, access time, browser information) may be transmitted to Framer. We ensure compliance with applicable data protection regulations through appropriate agreements.
8.3 Other service providers
We may use other providers, for example for:
Hosting and website operation
Online and email marketing
Payment processing (if paid services are offered)
IT support and maintenance
These providers may be located in Switzerland or abroad (including outside the EEA). In such cases, we ensure adequate protection through contractual agreements or other safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses).
Data security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, manipulation, loss, or destruction. These include:
SSL encryption during data transmission
Access restrictions on databases
Authorization concepts for employees
Regular security updates to our systems
Despite these precautions, electronic data transmission or storage cannot be completely secure. However, we strive to ensure an appropriate level of protection.
Retention periods
Personal data is only kept as long as necessary for the intended purpose. Legal retention obligations (e.g., commercial and tax laws) may require longer storage. After these periods, the data is deleted or anonymized.
Rights of data subjects
Under Swiss data protection law, you have the following rights:
Access your stored data
Request correction of incorrect or incomplete data
Request deletion of your data, unless legal obligations or other justifications oppose it
Request restriction of processing under certain conditions
Object to data processing based on legitimate interest
Withdraw consent, if the processing is based on your consent
To exercise these rights, contact us at benjaminbarakat@outlook.com. Please note that we must verify your identity before processing your request.
Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe that our data processing violates applicable data protection law, you may contact the competent supervisory authority. In Switzerland, this is:
Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) Feldeggweg 1 3003 Bern https://www.edoeb.admin.ch
Final provisions
If individual provisions of this privacy policy are or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. An appropriate, valid provision that most closely reflects the economic purpose of the invalid provision shall replace it.
Effective date: January 2025
We thank you for your trust and assure you that we handle your data carefully and responsibly. If you have any questions, please contact us at benjaminbarakat@outlook.com.
