Below is a suggested itinerary .
Day 1 - Arrival at Cairo
- Meet at Cairo International Airport (CAI) at 12:00(please take a flight accordingly to be there in time as we will depart at 13:00)
- We will make our way to the Black Desert Hotel as a starting point of our photography tour, the journey time is estimated at 5 hours and 30 minutes.
- Arrive at the hotel and check in.
- We can head outside and capture the stars from our hotel or spend the evening relaxing in our bubble dome rooms with a view of the stars.
day 2 -
White Desert
- After having breakfast & lunch we will relax at the hotel before getting ready and making our way to the White Desert just after lunchtime.
- We will go and explore the white desert taking photos from daytime until sunset.
- We will then have a desert dinner at our base camp in the desert before spending the night under the stars taking photos - the real start of one of our night photography workshops.
- Around Sunrise we will return back to the hotel to have breakfast and then get some sleep.
Day 3 - al aqabat area & secret cave
- After waking up and having lunch we will get ready and make our way to the Al Aqabat Area - the next stop of our photography tour.
- After Aqabat we will visit the secret cave for sunset photography & blue hour.
- After we will head back to the hotel for dinner & night photography with the Black Desert in the view from our hotel.
Day 4 - Dunes & Small Arch
- After waking up & having lunch we will get ready and pack our things before we head to the White Desert but this time into the region of dunes and where a small rock arch awaits you.
- We will then have a desert dinner at our base camp in the desert before spending the night under the stars taking photos - the real start of one of our night photography workshops.
- Around Sunrise we will return back to the hotel to have breakfast and then get some sleep.
Day 5 - The Spire & cove
- After waking up & having lunch we will pack our things before heading to a new spot, the Spire, a towering hoodoo rock formation & a new cove I discovered on the last tour.
- We will then shoot sunset & blue hour at these locations and a little into the night before heading back to the hotel for dinner & spending the rest of the night focused on star trails.
Day 6 - Return Home
- We will make our way to the Airport at 06:00 am and arrive around 13:00 pm.
- For those wishing to stay longer & explore the Great Pyramids of Giza & the Sphinx a tour guide can be arranged, there is a package that includes lunch with a private guide and a camel tour for an additional price of roughly 60$ USD per person.
- For those who want to extend their stay, each additional night is 500CHF. This can be discussed in the process of signing up.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
If a participant decides to cancel their reservation, they can do so at any time by communicating it as soon as possible to the official email address of the organizers at barakatphotography@outlook.com or mihail.minkov@gmail.com
- However, you should keep in mind that the cancellation by a participant would create management difficulties in bookings as well as the risk of not reaching the minimum number of participants for the trip (and consequently the need to search for a new person).
For this reason:
- The initial deposit of 1000 CHF Swiss Francs is non-refundable and non-negotiable.
- If the cancellation request is submitted 90 days prior to the tour no additional cost will be charged.
- If the cancellation request is presented LESS than 90 days before departure, it will NOT be possible to receive a refund of the full booking amount.
- Unless the customer who desires to cancel his booking brings in another person who is willing to take their place by paying the total amount of the trip itself.

OSama Fathi
Osama Fathi will be your host and guide on this tour.
After receiving a full introduction on the first day to Astrophotography he will then prepare you with the knowledge and tools to go out and capture stunning nightscapes and landscape photos just like ours. In the following days, you will shadow him and try to take the exact same compositions as him in order to learn the workflow and the correct way to capture your images. Alternatively, you are free to roam the beautiful landscapes around and capture your own images where he would then come follow up, give tips, and also his feedback.
Participation
- The price is 2850 CHF Swiss Francs per person (Double Sharing).
- A single supplement costs an additional 500 CHF Swiss Francs.
- This tour is for all levels of fitness & photography skills.
- The tour is limited to a maximum of 11 participants.
- A non-refundable deposit of 1000 CHF is required to secure your place.
- The outstanding amount is due 90 days before the tour start date.
- Deposits need to be made via Bank Transfer. All details will be sent to you once you have filled out the contact formula at the bottom of the page.
