Join us for an unforgettable journey through the breathtaking highlights of the Swiss and French Alps during the most magical time of year—August! With warm days perfect for exploration, nights under starry skies, and landscapes bursting with vibrant blooms, this is your chance to experience the Alps at their finest.

BACHALPSEE

DAY 1 & DAY 2

Meeting point is Zürich Airport.

Once everyone is together we will head to Grindelwald.

Nestled in the heart of Grindelwald is a stunning lake Bachalpsee.

We will be spending the next two nights here capturing sunset and into the night before heading back to our alpine hut for some good nights rest.

For sunrise we will be shooting the Tissot cliff walk and surrounding areas.

ZERmatt

DAY 3 & DAY 4

We will head to the crown jewel of Switzerland the iconic mountain Matterhorn located in Zermatt.

We will be spending the next two nights at Gornergrat.

The next two days will be full of exploring various view points for sunset/sunrise and night photography.

Chamonix

DAY 5 & DAY 6

Chamonix boasts some of the most breathtaking views in the French Alps, with Mont Blanc and its surrounding peaks guaranteed to leave you in awe. The area is home to pristine alpine lakes, offering stunning vistas and the chance to capture the Milky Way reflected in their tranquil waters.

If we're lucky, we might even encounter the majestic alpine ibex, a true highlight of the region's wildlife.

We will be spending two nights here at a refuge (dormitory rooms).

We will be exploring various lakes with some of the most beautiful reflections the French alps has to offer.

Again we will be shootings sunrise/sunset and night photography.

mystery LOCATION

DAY 7

Don’t be fooled by the image here as this really isn’t the last location.

Instead we have a mystery location that will be determined on the weather to ensure we have a great last night.

Farewells

DAY 8

We will begin our return to Zürich Airport.

For those wishing to extend their stay this will be possible and can be requested when signing up for the tour. There’s a lot to see in the Alps and we can’t see it all in only 7 nights so feel free to extend your stay with us!

I am thrilled to be your host and guide on this journey through my homeland to some of the most remote places with stunning views.

Since this is a mainly camping tour, I will be doing the theory part via online, as I will be giving you one year of access free of charge to my online masterclass. Once we meet in person I will give you a quick recap to make sure you're ready to go out and capture images just like mine. Throughout the following days, you'll have the opportunity to shadow me, replicating my compositions to learn the workflow and the proper techniques for capturing your stunning images.

- Pick up & drop off from Zurich or Basel Airport CH.

- Transport to all locations in mini van, plus parking.

- All lodgings, dormitories and over night stays during the trip.

- All gondolas, train tickets, and transport methods for getting to our locations.

- DSLR or Mirrorless Camera.

- Sturdy tripod.

- Remote shutter release Cable preferably.

- Wide angle lens with fast aperture preferably for Night & Landscape Photography.

-Long focal lengths or zoom lenses for wildlife.

- Hiking boots.

- Warm jacket as temperatures can drop low at night & Rain jacket.

- Headlamp.

- Water bottle.

- ND, VND & gradient filters for landscape photography.

- Additional batteries & memory cards.

Participation

16th - 23rd August 2025 ( 7 Nights).

- The price is 4900 CHF Swiss Francs per person .

- This tour is for all levels of photography skills.

- This tour requires moderate fitness levels as we will be hiking to various locations.

- The tour is limited to a maximum of 12 participants.

- A non-refundable deposit of 1500 CHF is required to secure your place.

-The outstanding amount is due 90 days before the tour start date.

- Deposits need to be made via Bank Transfer. All details will be sent to you once you have filled out the contact formula at the bottom of the page.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

If a participant decides to cancel their reservation for this photography tour, they can do so at any time by communicating it as soon as possible to the official email address of the organizer at barakatphotography@outlook.com

- However, you should keep in mind that the cancellation by a participant would create management difficulties in bookings as well as the risk of not reaching the minimum number of participants for the trip (and consequently the need to search for a new person).

For this reason:

- The initial deposit of 1500CHF Swiss Francs is non-refundable and non-negotiable.

- If the cancellation request is submitted 90 days before the tour no additional cost will be charged.

- If the cancellation request is presented LESS than 90 days before departure, it will NOT be possible to receive a refund of the full booking amount.

- Unless the customer who desires to cancel his booking brings in another person who is willing to take their place by paying the total amount of the trip itself.
